How to use True Stereo IR in FL Studio
I'm yosi, the caretaker of Chillout with Beats.
When I introduced the free IR before, I couldn't read it with True Stereo, so I didn't use it at all.
But if you think about it, you can make it with Patcher!I tried to make it.
Before that, I didn't understand True Stereo, so I looked it up.

In short, it seems that the IR created by creating an IR with a stereo microphone for each LR stereo source is called True Stereo.
The advantage is that you can play more accurate and wider reverb.
The verification of the method of reproducing True Stereo was confirmed by phase-inverting the Fog Convolver and the output.
Let's make it with Patcher.
Allow Patcher to play True Stereo
I will briefly explain the mechanism.
True Stereo requires an environment to play two stereo IRs, so prepare two "Fruity Convolver".
After dividing each of these two outputs into L and R, L is output from L and R is output from R.
First, load "Patcher" into the mixer as an effect.
Open "Patcher" and load the following effects.
・ "Fruity Convolver" * 2
I will copy "Fruity Stereo Shaper" later, so I will load only two for the time being.
First, set from the L side.
First, I want to separate L and R, so increase the input of "Fruity Stereo Shaper".
Right-click and click Output-> Audio-> Send 1.
Change the settings of "Fruity Stereo Shaper" in the following two places.
① is set to "0.0dB". (1 if it is a value)
② is set to "1".
As for what we are doing, only Left is output from Out.
Since Right, which is the difference, is output from "Send 1", L and R can be separated.
Copy it to the R side here.
It is easy to drag and drop from "Save preset as" by right-clicking.
Even if you copy it, the Out setting will be deleted, so right-click and click "Output"-> "Audio"-> "Send 1" to make two Outs.
It will be as follows.
Next, set the "Fruity Stereo Shaper" to mix the divided LRs.
Open the second "Fruity Stereo Shaper" and set as follows.
Simply set it to RL "-6db". (Value is 0.5)
This is set to the same LR so that it is easy to copy and paste, and finally both are mixed to double the volume, so it is halved.
After that, connect as follows.
I also prepared a video for the time being.

As for the confirmation point, listen to each LR solo and confirm that only the left is output for L and only the right is output for R.
