Overview

Fog Convolver is a convolution plug-in that applies impulse response sound characters to other sounds in real time.

Impulse response is a recording of the output that occurs when an impulse (electric spark, starter pistol firing, balloon burst) is applied to an acoustic space or electronic device.

Fog Convolver can be used to add reverberation, create special effects, and apply acoustic impulses captured from audio equipment.

The Factory Bank offers over 250 impulse responses created from spatial, analog and digital equipment, speakers, organic sources and more.

True Stereo

You can select between two modes by clicking the mode box.Normal and true stereo.True stereo works by using two stereo impulse responses and mixing them.

You can drag and drop (L + R) two stereo files onto your monitor, or you can drag separate stereo files (L at the top of the monitor and R at the bottom).

True stereo impulses are usually recorded simultaneously to capture a better stereo image, but you can also use two unrelated IRs to create an experimental stereo reverb.
