This is yosi from Chillout with Beats.

VCV RackThis is an explanation of the module Befaco A * B + C.

The price is 169,00 € for the pre-assembled and 114,95 € for the DIY kit.

It feels like I named it, but I will paste the video as usual.

Feeling I sawMutable Instruments OfLinksOrShadesIt feels like it's close to.
(I'm sorry if it's different ...)

All are in English, but there is a way to display Japanese subtitles.

Please refer to the following article for how to display Japanese subtitles.

There was a diagram, so I will paste it.

What is VCV Rack Befaco A * B + C?

A * B + C is a dual 4-quadrant multiplier with VC offset.

Each section can perform an analog multiplier on the two signals (A and B) and add an offset (C).It also functions as a dual voltage control attenuator, dual ring modulator, dual VCA, or 2-channel mixer.

I'm happy to work as a 4-channel mixer.

VCV Rack Befaco A * B + C features

1A / 1B Inputs: A channel input.You can enter audio or CV.

2A / 2B Inputs:B channel input.You can enter audio or CV.This signal is
Channel A signal and multiplication. Normalized to 5V.

3A / 3B Inputs Attenuverter Control: This knob controls the level of the attenuator (attenuator-inverter) applied to the B signal path prior to multiplication. The attenuator sweeps a factor of -2 to 2 from multiplication. The attenuator has an exponential response, which means gain. The effect is extremely pronounced.

4A / B Inputs: C channel input. This signal will be added to the signal
Channel. Normalized to 10V.

5A / B Inputs Attenuverter Control: This knob controls the level of the attenuator (attenuator-inverter) applied to the C signal path prior to addition to channel A.The attenuator sweeps at a magnification of -1 to 1.
Attenuator has an exponential response which means gain
Extremely effective

6A / B Output:Output = A * B + C

7A / B Output Indicator LEDs: If the output voltage is positive and green, the LED will turn red.
When the output is negative

How to use VCV Rack Befaco A * B + C

As for A * B + C, there was no information on how to use it, so I tried to verify it a little.

First, we investigated the increase / decrease when the signal that entered 1A / 1B Inputs exited from 6A / B Output.

Although it is not possible with the actual machine, it was possible to input numerical values from VCV Rack V1.0, and I was able to investigate.

When the input is + -0.85, the input and output are equal.

One of the videos (GIF) is directly put into SCOPE from LFO-1, and the other is via A * B + C.

Initially, the output is the same at +0.85, but if you raise B1 LEVEL to the maximum, the waveform will collapse.

If you set it to -0.85, the waveform will be inverted.

VCV Rack Befaco A * B + C Summary

personallyShadesI think it's better though the number of channels is reduced. (Stability and ease of use)

I couldn't find the goodness of Befaco A * B + C because I didn't have enough knowledge.

If you know it, you can use Twitter, so please let me know.
