How to use Voltage Modular Nucleus How to synchronize with your DAW
This is yosi from Chillout with Beats.
This time, I will explain how to synchronize with a DAW.
Voltage Modular recognizes it as VST, so try synchronizing the internal sequencer with your DAW.
Synchronize your internal sequencer with your DAW
Prerequisites
Synchronization settings with DAW
I prepared a video. This is because the 3OSC created in the previous article has a sequencer.
There is nothing particularly difficult, and connect "PLAY" and "STOP" of "TRANSPORT" to "START" and "STOP" of "8-Step-Sequencer".
Then add "SYNC DIVIDER".
Connect "SYNC OUT" of "TRANSPORT" and "SYNC IN" of "SYNC DIVIDER".
Connect "CLOCK OUT" of "SYNC DIVIDER" and "EXT CLK" of "8-Step-Sequencer".
Press the "EXT" button to turn it on.
Now when you play your DAW, the 8-Step-Sequencer will run in sync.
The speed of 8 steps can be set in "NOTE VALUE" of "SYNC DIVIDER".
You can enable dotted notes with the following buttons for triplets.
After that, please play around with it.
For example, add "ENVELOPE GENERATOR" or "Mini LFO", connect to "Filter", and add "DIST" to easily create something like this. (Kick is a DAW)
Synchronize your internal arpeggiator with your DAW
Synchronizing the arpeggiator with your DAW is the same, so it's easy to proceed.
Delete "8-Step-Sequencer" and add "ARPEGGIATOR".
Connect "CLOCK OUT" of "SYNC DIVIDER" and "CLK IN" of "ARPEGGIATOR".
Connect "ARPEGGIATOR" and "MIDI" "FROM HOST".
Connect the "KEYB CV" of each "OSCILLATOR" and the "CV OUT" of the "ARPEGGIATOR".
Connect to "GATE OUT" of "ARPEGGIATOR" and "GATE IN" of "ENVELOPE GENERATOR".
that's all.
How to use Voltage Modular Nucleus Summary of how to synchronize with DAW
I could easily synchronize with my DAW.
It's easy because there is a mechanism to synchronize originally.
However, when it comes to full-scale use, the free version does not have LFO BPM synchronization or 16-step sequence, so I am worried about purchasing the paid version.
I wrote the sale information.
