How to use as a MIDI file browser
"ReMIDI 2" can be used as a MIDI file browser.
Normally, you can't watch it by dragging and dropping it into your DAW and checking it.
With "reMIDI 2", you can read and watch by double-clicking from the built-in browser.
And if you like it, you can drag and drop it from "reMIDI 2" to your DAW as a MIDI file.
That's why I will explain the series of steps.
Add MIDI file folder to "reMIDI 2" as a favorite
As a general premise, let's create a folder to store MIDI files.
Since the file size is small, it can be anywhere, but once you have created it, let's insert MIDI files steadily.
The number of sample packs that come with MIDI files has increased, but I think it is more convenient to save the MIDI files separately.
Launch "reMIDI 2" and drag and drop the appropriate MIDI file from the MIDI folder onto the pad.
Next, please click the red frame below.
Then you will see the MIDI files in the same folder as the dragged and dropped files in your browser!
Then click "↑" to move to the upper level.
Then move to the top of the MIDI folder and click the star.
You have now registered your favorites.
You can access your favorites from the red frame in the figure below.
Read and watch MIDI files with "reMIDI 2"
You can double-click to load a MIDI file into the "reMIDI 2" pad.
If it is left as it is, only one bar will sound, so increase "SIZE".
Since it is a preview, I think that "8" (16 bars) to "XNUMX" (XNUMX bars) is good.
Speaking of watching chords, you can't understand the atmosphere unless you play about XNUMX bars.
However, it takes time to listen to XNUMX bars normally.
In such a case, change "TEMPO X" to "2" etc. to double the speed, or set "1.5" to 1.5x speed.

Drag and drop as a MIDI file into your DAW
It's very easy, but I will explain it for the time being.
If you like it after listening to it, drag and drop the red frame in the figure below to your DAW.
The usage changes a little, but the icon in the red frame in the above figure is an icon that can be dragged and dropped.
So you can also drag and drop sliced pads into your DAW.

One unfortunate part is that you can't scroll horizontally in the MIDI file browser.
If you cannot scroll horizontally, you cannot check the key if the file name is long.
