How to use SongWish's reMIDI 2 (Basic)

First, I will explain the basic usage and outline.

SongWish reMIDI 2 overview

I haven't seen many people using it, but I think it's perfect for those who want to make music intuitively.

In short, it's close to the MIDI version of Serato Sample.

You can slice MIDI files and arrange them on the pad.

First of all, I will explain the settings required to make a sound.

Settings to play other VSTi with reMIDI 2

Here, we will explain using Serum as an example.

First of all, when using reMIDI 2, it is better to have various MIDI files.

For the time being, if you do not have a MIDI file at all, download it from the following site.

If you get Python, you can get high quality MIDI files.

Let's explain the settings.

This system is already a familiar MIDI setting.
(However, some people may see it for the first time, so I will explain it with a picture properly)

First load reMIDI 2 and Serum.

reMIDI 2 settings

Set "Output port" to "0" from the gear icon on the upper left.

MIDI files can be read by dragging and dropping.

Once loaded, the list of files can be displayed on the browser, so you can drag and drop from the browser of "reMIDI 2" from now on.

Serum settings

Set "Impot port" to "0" from the gear icon on the upper left.

This completes the settings.

mute the default sound of reMIDI 2

If you click the pad on the "reMID 2" side with the above settings, you will hear a sound.

However, I think you can hear the piano sound at this time.

This is for making a sound even if Midi is not set, but it is usually not necessary.

Click the gear icon in the upper right to turn it off.

Set "Internal Sound" to "OFF".
