This is a must-see for those who play Live using FL Studio.
For example, when you move the synth cutoff knob, the range in which the sound changes comfortably is quite narrow.
By excluding the range where the sound does not change, the entire range where the knob is moved can be the range where the sound changes.

There are several ways to do this, but here's how to use "Patcher".
You can also use "Mapping formula" etc., but it is not intuitive and it takes time to make fine adjustments.
Adjust the parameter range
The completed form looks like this.
In short, use "XYZ-Controller" to adjust the parameter range.
First, load the patcher and load the sound source and "XYZ-Controller".
Here, FLEX is used as the sound source.
Next, select the parameter for which you want to adjust the parameter range.
After selecting, right-click on the parameter and click "Activate".
You can make a red ●.
Then right-click on "XYZ-Controller" and click "Inputs"-> "Parameters"-> "1.X value" to enable it.
Do the same for "Output" and enable "1.X".

Next, open "Surface" and make a knob.

Right-click "knob" and select the appropriate knob.
I chose "TB B" here.
Change the size to your liking and click the spanner icon.
Click "Map" to connect.
Connect as follows.
Double-click "XYZ-Controller" to open it.
Select Input mapping from the drop-down list.
The value of this graph increases from bottom to top.
For example, the settings for the first video demo are shown below.
The lower limit is set to 33% and the upper limit is set to 93%.
This completes the settings.
Now, with FLEX displayed, move the knob and check the operation.
Summary
I think that it is effective when recording parameters in real time other than live.
If you set the range firmly, you can avoid sudden cracking or silence.
