Replace Kick with Regroover Pro and MDrum Replacer

Clear and super easy.

If you do your best, you can do it with Regroover Essential, which was previously distributed for free.

You just have to load the same loop into two Regroover Essentials and output it to separate mixers for Kick only and others.

Here, we will explain using Regroover Pro.

Regroover Pro settings

First of all, Kick and Snare are not good for Regroover Pro, but other than that, it loads a good loop.

Regroover Pro will automatically separate Kick, Snare and others just by loading.

The following is a drum loop of a Lo-Fi sample pack, so Kick feels quite weak.

I will replace this Kick.

First, find out which "Layer" Kick is.

It's easy to see by looking at it, but it's easy to see if you play each "Layer" on Solo.

This time, "Layer 3" was Kick.

I want to para out only Kick, so change Output to "OUT 2".

In the case of FL Studio, you cannot para out unless you change the settings.

In this case, I only want to para out one, so change "2. Rogroover ..." to "1".

With this, only Kick was able to para out.

MDrum Replacer settings

Load the MDrum Replacer into the mixer that para-outs Kick.

Then select Kick from "DRUM LIBRARY".

The green marker is unnecessary this time, so lower it to the bottom.

Next, raise "Threshold MAX" to the top.

"Threshold" will be adjusted if a useless trigger occurs.
