Explanation of main parameters

I will explain the parameters displayed on the main screen.

The name is Filter, but there is no Cutoff knob, and there are many unfamiliar parameters, so I think that many people are confused.
(I didn't know how to use it at first)

First of all, I will explain the parameters in a normal Filter.

① Type of Filter

There are 11 types of Filter in all.

In addition to the standard LowPass, BandPass, HighPass, and Notch, there are ENVs that can be used as envelopes.

There is no new type of Filter.

② Cutoff envelope

The Cutoff of the Obvious Filter can be moved with an envelope instead of a knob.

If you want to fix it in one place like a knob, you can move it together by selecting both points by dragging.

Cutoff's envelope editor will be written separately, so I will omit it here.

③ Envelope speed

The playback speed of the envelope.

You can choose from 4Bar (bar) to 16th (minute).

The speed it takes to play once from end to end.

At first glance, the minimum value is 16th, which is not so small, but it is the speed at which the envelope is played once.

For example, the envelope in the above figure of 1Bar and the envelope in the figure after 4th have the same meaning.

The number of patterns that can be created is greatly increased by combining with speed.

In the video below, a simple Bass is played and input to the "Obvious Filter".

④ Resonance

Normally, "Resonance" plays an important role when it comes to Filter, but it is not so important in "Obvious Filter".

Since other parameters have a great influence on the sound, I think that "Resonance" will not come into play that much.

Summary

It's a very nice filter.

It is effective and interesting when used for simple sounds that keep ringing.

However, in my environment, sometimes FL Studio falls.

Stability is where I want you to do your best.
