[Free] Explanation of Reaktor Block Sequential Switch of Toybox XNUMX
It's been a while since the last time, but I'll update it as well.
Sequential Switch is the last article.
The articles up to the last time are here.
Example of how to use Sequential Switch
I thought about how to use it.
Prepare multiple effects in Para, connect each out to the input of the "Sequential Switch", and switch according to the tempo.
I think the effect can be anything.
I don't feel like I can make sounds by aiming so much, so I think it's best to leave it to trial and error and randomness.
Let's actually explain how to do it.
Read "Reaktor 6" as an effect in your mixer.
Open Reaktor 6 and click Patch.
Load "Sequential Switch" and some of your favorite effects.
In the example below, it is free except for "DRIVER".
I will connect.
First, connect to each effect module from "Audio In".
I'm doing it in monaural, but if I prepare two "Sequential Switch", I can do it in stereo.
I'm using XNUMX effect modules this time, but there are XNUMX sequences themselves.
You can have XNUMX effects, or you can output from the same effect twice.
The wiring looks like the following.
I also prepared a video.
After that, connect the "Gate" of "Clock" to the "Gate" of "Sequential Switch".
When you ring it, it looks like this.
If this is left as it is, the noise when switching is strong, so adjust "FADE".
I also prepared a video.
After that, you can add more randomness by adding an LFO module etc. and modulating the parameters.
[Free] Explanation of Toybox's Reaktor Block Sequential Switch XNUMX Summary
It's a lot of fun, but it's a shame that the effects are limited.
However, if you use Patcher, you can switch using VST effects.
Tomorrow I will explain how to do it.
