How to make a multi-band Gross Beat with FL Studio Patcher

I'm yosi, the caretaker of Chillout with Beats.

Yes, honestly, if you made a multi-band saturator, you can make it without looking at this article.

However, it feels better than I expected, so I wrote it as an article.

It's good enough to think that such an effect will come out in the future.

Make a multi-band Gross Beat with Patcher

This area is the same as when I made the multi-band Saturator.

Since you can use multi-band, it is recommended to save it as a template at the place where you made three.

Divide the band into three

With this method, anything can be processed in multiple bands.

Use 3 Maximus and output Solo in each band.

You can freely adjust the bandwidth by assigning parameters to adjust the bandwidth for three knobs.

It is like this.

Load Patcher into Mixer.

Since it is used as a knob, read "3 band stereo seperation" from the preset.

Since it is unnecessary except Surface, delete it.

You can delete it by right-clicking and selecting "Delete".

Load one Maximus.

The other two can be easily duplicated by right-clicking and dragging "Save preset as ...".

Add Gross Beat

Add one GrossBeat and increase it to three by the above method.

Also this time, let's put an additional Limiter after GrossBeat to prevent clipping.

Connect as follows.

This time, since the pattern is switched with the knob, "Time Slot" is assigned to the knob.

Right-click on GrossBeat and click inputs-> Parameters-> Time slot.

If you repeat this three times and connect it to the knob, it will be as follows.

Moving the knob will also change the Gross Beat pattern.

Summary of how to make multi-band Gross Beat with Patcher of FL Studio

The good thing is that you can apply different patterns for Kick and Hi-hat, for example, so you can generate different patterns from one drum loop.

Even if the riff is monotonous, you can easily make it look elaborate by using different patterns for Mid and High.

Grossbeat makes it feel good, so of course it's a Stutter typeStutter Edit, turnadoBut I think you can get an interesting effect. (It's just a high load)

Please try various things.
