Tab settings

Tabs are displayed at the top of the browser.

You can choose what to display on the browser for each tab.

We will explain the following operations.

create a tab

Even if you create a tab, there is no completely new way to create it, and the following two methods are used.

clone (replication)

Clone (duplicate), as the name suggests, duplicates the existing tab.

To do this, right-click on the existing tab and click "Clone this tab".

Open in new tab

To open in a new tab, you can tab the folder (hierarchy) you want to display in the tab.

To do this, right click on the folder and click "Open in new tab".

With this method, you can tab your favorite hierarchy as the top hierarchy, so you can tab a folder of frequently used samples or a folder containing a specific plug-in.

Remove unwanted tabs

Tabs created with "Clone this tab" or "Open in new tab" can be deleted by right-clicking and clicking "Delete".

Hide unwanted tabs

Tabs that exist by default cannot be deleted.
(Delete is not displayed in the menu)

However, if you don't use it, it's annoying if it exists, so let's hide the tabs you don't use.

Right click on the tab you want to hide and click "hide".

You can now hide it.

You can redisplay by selecting the tab you want to redisplay from "Show hidden".

"ALL" cannot be hidden.

Change the order of tabs

In the days of FL Studio 20, it was not possible to change the order of tabs once created, but in FL Studio 21 it is now possible.

Right-click on the tab and use "Move right" to move it to the right and "Move left" to move it to the left.

Display multiple columns (Tree)

Multi-column display of plugins is now possible.

As before, if the plugin is registered in the Plugin DataBase, the image of the plugin will be displayed in the browser.

If you look at the image, you can see the plug-in that you forget the existence of just by looking at the name.

If you change the width as shown in the image below, you can display multiple lines as long as the screen allows.

Right-click on the Plugin tab and select Sort by -> Plugins.
