Excite Audio's Bloom Bass Impulse is on sale.
I got the license so I tried it out, and it's pretty good.

Going back to the topic, Bloom Bass Impulse is a very interesting bass sound source.
It's a sound source that leans towards EDM and Bass Music, and is like a combination of multiple samplers.
It's basically loop-based, but the sampler is powerful, and it sounds quite natural even when you change the scale.
You can assign a sample to a keyboard and set the range and pitch to play, or use ``PHRASE PLAYER'' to select a sample assigned to a keyboard and play it.
``PHRASE PLAYER'' allows you to change the pitch without changing the length, so you can create new phrases.

Difference between Lite version and FULL version
The differences between the Lite version and the FULL version are as follows.
The Lite version has 75 presets (FULL is 250), but the key can be changed and BPM synchronization is also available.
You can use the Lite version just by playing the presets, but we recommend the FULL version because it is a plug-in that shows its true value when you edit it in detail.
For now, you can check the progress with the Lite version and upgrade later.

I tried playing a simple preset that can also be used in the Lite version.
(As for the presets, it is not known which ones are in the Lite version, so there is a possibility that the sound that is set is not included in the Lite version.)
You can also match the keys with the Lite version, so it can be used quite a lot.
Phrases are stored in the black keys from A to E, so you can use this alone.
It is played in one note as shown below.
If you use the FULL version, you can do very deep editing.
A sample is assigned to each white key, but the length of this sample can be changed with "SAMPLE EDIT", and the pitch, formant, attack, release, etc. can also be changed freely.
Also, assigning the built-in samples to white keys is actually easy and creative.
Please note that external samples cannot be loaded.
Since you can pull samples randomly, it also works like a phrase generator.

Method of operation
Choose a key to work with, choose a preset or sample bank, and ignite one of 2 bpm synced bass loops across two octaves. The white keys initiate bass samples and loops, while the black keys adjust characteristics such as playback speed and pitch, as well as trigger custom sequences and effect modulations.
Four innovative macro controls: Sub-EQ for bass tone shaping, Noise for texture, Crush for sample rate reduction, and Width for subtle stereo expansion.

Bloom Bass Impulse's Edit page gives you complete control over your bass content.
The Sample Edit section allows you to modify the 14 source samples in each bank. Set the sample start and end points, and adjust the trigger type, playback direction, and playback speed. Fine-tune pitch, formant settings, envelope attack and release, and even set up choke groups for dynamic bass interaction.
Phrase Player allows you to precisely sequence bass samples. Assign one of the five black keys to trigger a pattern of samples, modulate pitch, velocity, high-cut/low-cut filter, and dig deep into three effects: Saturation, Filter, and Reverb. Familiar arpeggiator features such as rate, latching, and swing provide a familiar yet powerful foundation for your workflow.
Bloom Bass Impulse includes three custom effects modules: Saturation for warmth and edge, Envelope Filter for frequency sculpting with excellent audio response, and Reverb for added spatial dimension.
