How to output the scale
VCV RackIf you use SEQ or something, the scale will be ignored, so is there any problem if you can't match it with other instruments when you work with your DAW?
I would like to solve such a problem this time. (Yeah? I'm the only one who has this kind of trouble)
There are several ways to make a note in a scale.
- Use the piano roll
- Use a sequencer that can specify the scale
- Input and use MIDI notes from your DAW
- Use pitch correction effects in your DAW (FL Studio Pitcher, etc.)
- Correct with module

Use the piano roll

It's easy, but I'll explain it.
Even if you say a piano roll, unlike the one used in a DAW, it will not sound unless you put in a clock in monotone.

MIDI notes to macro oscilator2 using the piano roll?I am sending. (To be exact, it's a CV)
I put the 8ths out from the BPM Clock into the CLK of the piano roll.
If you put 1V / OUT of the piano roll into V / OUT of macro oscilator2, the sound will come out.
It just keeps ringing, so I put ADSR in it. (This is your choice)
