Swap samples of Reaktor sound source Polyplex
Polyplex originally has a sample map for each Kick and Snare, and you can load it randomly from among them.
So all you have to do is replace the sample map with the drums in your library.
If it is Kick in advance, Kick needs to be organized to some extent.
The following article describes how to extract by category from a large number of kits, so please also read this article.
Then I will explain how to do it immediately.
Launch Polyplex and click the waveform icon.
Select the category you want to replace from the red frame below.
Here, we will explain with "kick".
Ctrl + a Select all with and click "Remove".
A confirmation dialog will appear, so click "OK".
Then add your own sample.
Drag and drop the sample to the red frame below that you deleted earlier.
Can be registered in the sample mapMaximum is 128 samplesUntil.
If you drag and drop it, it will look like this.
I also prepared a video.
If you do this work with Snare, Hihat, etc., you can replace it with your own sample.
Save Polyplex with swapped samples
The replaced sample information is saved in the DAW project, but it cannot be reused as it is.
If you open it in another project, it will revert to the original sample.
Therefore, if you save Polyplex itself, you can use it in other projects.
To save, click "File"-> "Save as…" from ▼ and clickRename and saveonly.
Please note that if you do not change the name, it will overwrite the original.
Summary
After all Polyplex is good.
A little latelyTwisted ToolsIt seems that there is a movement in Mr., so I am very much looking forward to the future.
