Overview
Everyone needs a good bit crusher effect, but nothing beats the PSP Nitro and PSP N2O bit crushers. The PSP nitroLoFi module provides continuously adjustable emulation of sample rates from 48kHz to 750Hz and features buttons for antialiasing and smoothing.It also enables continuously adjustable bitrate simulation from 24 bits to 1 bit, and has buttons for non-linear emulation. The PSP nitroLoFi has eight preset buttons, and you can select settings for DVD players, tape recorders, etc., as well as dither / noise shaping emulation.It also has master input and output gain knobs. The PSP nitroLoFi is also savvy in controlling the control voltage style.In addition to the master stereo CV inputs and outputs, there are separate CV inputs for sample rate and bit depth control.Bit Crash may not seem like a very creative effect, but the PSP nitroLoFi does.

Type
This is just like a preset.
When selected, settings such as DVD and DAT will be reflected.
Sampling Rate
Needless to say.
Lowering it will produce a gritty sound.
AntiAlias, Smooth
The existence of this is quite large.
I think that AntiAlias applies LowPass Filter to prevent aliasing noise when a sound above the frequency is input.

Bit Depth
Needless to say, I don't really understand Nonlinear.
The sound will be smooth.
Dither / Noise Shaping
I know it's Dither here, but everything else is refreshing.
The PSP also has a popular Dither plug-in, so I think it's a difference in the algorithm.
If you lower the Bit Depth, the effect will be noticeable.
