How to use Patcher in FL Studio to saturate only Comp Wets

I came up with a little idea, so I'll write it down.

I tried it, but I think this is good.

Both comps and saturators use plug-ins that are also available for free.

Load your favorite comp and saturator, "Fruity Stereo Shaper" into "Patcher". (Also "Fruity Balance" for Gain adjustment if necessary)

Here on SoftubeSaturation KnobAnd Analog ObsessionVariMoonIs used.

Make the connection as follows.

Open "Fruity Stereo Shaper" and select the preset "Mixing"-> "Invert".

This will reverse the phase and the Dry sound will be cancelled.
(However, there is no difference in volume between Wet and Dry sound of Comp)

If you use this method, it is possible to put out only the snare on the entire surface without using EQ.

It's a slight difference, but you can make fine adjustments because you can adjust the saturation by adjusting the threshold and release of the comp.

Summary of how to saturate only Wet of Comp using Patcher in FL Studio

It's a different method from parallel comp, and the effect is quite different, so I think it can be used quite a lot.

And although it was saturation this time, plug-ins such as distortion and exciter seem to be interesting.

As I just came up with, reverb is also good.

If you adjust it with the comp, there will be almost no kick, so only the snare part will be beautifully reverbed.
