Overview
This is yosi from Chillout with Beats.
FL Studio's FPC has a little quirks.
I just want to arrange the samples on the pad, but they are layered.
I read the manual and found out how to use it well, so I would like to explain it.
How to load an external sample
You may want to play the one-shot sample downloaded for free.
Personally, Maschine is overwhelmingly recommended at such times.
There is a way to get Maschine for virtually free, so if you're curious, read the article below.
Advance preparation
Introduced last timeSamplephonicsI would like to load the one-shot sample that can be downloaded at FPC.
One-shot sample processed with 513 vacuum tubesTake as an example.
If you want to follow the steps, please read and download the following articles and then read on.
There are also a large number of free one-shots available on Reverb.com.
Clear pad
When you start FPC, Kit is already loaded by default, so clear it.
(Normally, if you drag a file from above, it will be layered and both the sound before and after reading will be at the same time.)
There are two ways to clear it, one is to clear the pads one by one and the other is to load an empty kit.
Clear one pad at a time
Select the pad you want to clear, click "▼" as shown in the image below, and click "Clear pad".
I can't undo, but can I clear it?Will be asked, so click "OK".
When cleared, it will become whitish as shown below.
How to load an empty Kit
This is easy and click "empty" from the Kit presets.
Click "Enpty"
This makes it even more straightforward.
Load sample
I don't know why, but the arrangement of the pads is different from the scale.
I added a scale to the name of the pad. It's a strange arrangement, isn't it?
(In Maschine's sense, the bottom left is Kick, but it's Side Stick.)
This area goes on without digging deep.
Let's actually read it.
You can use Windows Explorer, but I want to listen to the sample before deciding, so drag it from the FL Studio browser.
How to display downloaded samples etc. in the browser of FL Studio
Enter the full Path in "Braoser extra serch folders" on the "Opsions"-> "File Settings"-> "File" tab of the menu. For example, if you store samples in a folder called Samples in My Documents on drive C, it will look like the following.
C: \ Users \ [your username] \ Documents \ Samples
Now drag the bass drum to the second lower left.
I felt like I listened to it for a while, and it was good that there was noise, so I chose "1_A # 4_Kick_SP.wav".
Drag the snare, closed and open hi-hats and cymbals in this tone.
It looks like the following. Midi Loop uses only this much, so you can arrange it according to your preference.
After that, you can type in the pattern yourself or change the Midi Loop, find the pattern you like, and assemble it to create the skeleton.
How to save presets
Let's save it because it is my own kit that I made.
Click Save preset as.
The FPC preset folder will open automatically as the save location, so save it with an arbitrary name.
It will also be displayed on the preset with the saved name. (It's convenient!)
Sound source demo
Free to FPCSamplephonicsI just loaded the Drum and played it with Midi Loop.
I played with it for a while.Loop above just side by side,IR of speakerI applied a comp to automate GrossBeat.
Summary
I was a little worried, so when I looked at the number of Midi Loops, there were more than 1700.
If you just want to load the sample, you can use another similar sampler, but if you have this much Midi Loop, it will be a great advantage.
It can be used in quite a variety of genres, so it's good for making rhythm patterns based on daddy.
