Modulate VST plug-ins with the free Reaktor BLOCKS BASE

This is yosi from Chillout with Beats.

Last time, I used the filter inside Reaktor to make it an auto filter.

This time, I will try to modulate the VST filter by outputting MIDI CC from Reaktor.

VST uses Waves' MetaFilter.

I feel like this.

How to output MIDI CC from Reaktor BLOCKS BASE

The first method is to output MIDI CC, but it's easy.

You can output it from MIDI OUT, so all you have to do is output the "Envelope Follower" you used last time from MIDI CC.

As you are familiar with every time, match the MIDI Port.

Please refer to the following article for details on how to use MetaFilter.

This also matches the MIDI Port.

You are now ready to receive MIDI CC.

Assign using MIDI Learn.

Right-click on the knob you want to assign and click Learn.

Please play it in this state.

It's OK if the knob moves.

Modulate VST Plugins with Free Reaktor BLOCKS BASE Summary

This time it's just Filter Cutoff, but you can do anything else.

For example, you can prepare another trigger so that the filter will be applied at that timing, or you can change the DRY and WET of the delay with the envelope follower.

Depending on your ideas, you can do things that you can't do with existing plugins.
