How to use the free Blocks Base is well written in the following article.
It also describes how to add a free module.
Blocks Base
A thing called "BLOCKS BASE" was added to the free product of Native Instruments.
I'm not sure even if I read the explanation, so I will install it for the time being.
ClickKontakt StartI will go to the download page of, so let's start Native Access.
How to install Blocks Base
it's simple.
When you start NativeAccess, click "Not Installed".
Click "Install" to install. The image below was installed by mistake, so I am using the image that has already been installed.
How to SCAN Blocks Base from Komplete Kontrol
When I started it, it scans, so I thought it would recognize it, but I didn't recognize it.
(It did not change even if I scanned it with Preferences)
If it is not recognized, please try the following methods. (Half forced, but ...)
First, find the Path installed this time.
Add this Path as a folder to SCAN.
Click "Preferences" under "Edit".
Click Library-> User-> Add.
Add the Path from earlier.
The default is the following Path.
C: \ Users \ Public \ Documents \ Blocks Base
After adding, click "Scan".
You should see "Blocks Base" in "All Instruments".
How to SCAN Blocks Base from Mashine
The same is true for Maschine, which was not recognized even when scanned from Preferences, so I used the same method as Komplete Kontrol. If you are not recognized in the same way, please try it.
Click "Preferences" under "File".
Click Library-> User-> Add.
Add Path.
The default is the following Path.
(If you don't know the Path, please use this form. Please refer to)
C: \ Users \ Public \ Documents \ Blocks Base
After adding, click "Scan".
You should see "Blocks Base" in "All Instruments".
Added tones
Snapshots are in XNUMX categoriesA total of 39 were added.
You can add more tones for free.If you like, please also read the following articles
It's good because it adds 39 tones for free.
It's pretty good if you use it for a while. (Although it is monophonic)
You will hear a fat sound.
I made a simple demo.
There was a 303-like sound, so I put two of them on top of each other, and the drum is Maschine's drum.
The patches are "Arena Alert" and "Nostalgic Raver".
The effect is about adding the compression and saturation attached to Maschine to the 303-like sound.
Blocks Base Summary
I thought I would use it, but it's much better to move it with Maschine than to move the knob on the screen.
It's also very easy to use because it feels like you're working on hardware only, such as selecting tones and listening to previews.
The Blocks Base article is written so that even beginners can understand it.
If you want to patch yourself, please take a look.
