The OB6 is an analog synthesizer with a very special and unique sound.

The 12dB state variable filter makes it especially suitable for pads and keys.The filter can be swept between lowpass and highpass, so blending with just a little highpass will give you a nice fairy dust pad.delicious!

To make a great synth special, I recorded the left and right channels separately and detuned them slightly for a truly wide stereo sound in 50 of the 31 patches. (Add a little reverb or delay and it will float in space!)

The recording process used a chain of high-end solid-state and tube gear.It was recorded on the Apogee Symphony MK28 Converter via passive DI (Jensen Transformers), VP50 Preamp, BT2 EQ, Manley Variable Mu Compressor, Culture Vulture Tube Saturator.There is no digital processing like all the samples.

The result is a large, wide stereo spread and warm tones.

The focus of this pack is on the pads and keys, but there are also strings, leads and basses to get things done.
