Introduction of synth sound source Asper with various oscillators from zOne.sk

I've introduced this developer before, but the notation seems to have changed a bit.

Asper can make sounds using WaveTable, Subtractive, Phase Distortion, and Physical Modeling.

I played the preset and saw it.

Although the number of presets is small, there is a randomization function that can be used to generate as many as you want.

Each oscillator and filter has a randomize function, so you can change only some of them.

Overview

An experimental synthesizer that combines wavetables, subtractives, phase distortion and physical modeling. The idea was to humanize the sound at the oscillator level, simulating the behavior of a real-life instrument where every hit is different.Rather than simulating the sonic behavior of an analog synth, it's simulating a round robin.

Instead of complex modulation, I decided to split the wavelet OSC into two layers and control each. This makes it easy to control the attack per velocity without having to assign a modulation source. You can also set detune, comb filter, pitch envelope, phase distortion, etc. individually for each layer. All blend controls can be shaped separately for each layer, and there's also an inverse mode for setting different amounts and phases using the same MIDI CC and velocity.

Features

– 1 wavetable oscillator
– 118 wavetables that can be combined in multiple ways
– Comb filter for both wavetable layers
– Advanced amplitude adjustment with breakpoint control for better control
– Phase distortion for each wavetable layer with 5 different shapes and its own detune
– Modulation section and sync option for phase distortion
– 1 noise sub synth
– Round-robin simulation at oscillator level (both wavetable and noise OSC
– Configurable blend modes based on velocity or control via MIDI CC
– Control the shape of morphs, filters and FM amounts (exponential to logarithmic)
– Parallel and serial mode filters
– Modulation section for filters
– Shaper (2 modes
– Saturation
– Portamento for monaural (adjustable velocity level for triggers)
– Vibrato module
– Interactive GUI that can be changed and adjusted on mouseover
– Each MIDI CC-assignable control now has an added display of the assigned controller.
– Added 6 presets for all envelope controls
– Ensemble module for simulations like unison and reverb
– Soft clipper to prevent clipping (can be disabled)
– Randomization of almost all subsections
– Simple preset manager
– Adjustable GUI scale on one page, from 1 to 80%.

Windows only.

Download

You can download from KVR without registration.

Installation

Installation is compatible with VST3, so if you unzip and put "Asper (64).vst3" into the following folder, you're done.

C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ VST3

Summary

Asper is rich in functions despite being one screen, and editing is simplified.

The randomization function is also easy to use and excellent.
