Introducing the open source semi-modular synth sound source Firefly Synth (Win only)
Firefly Synth is from the same developer as Infernal Synth, which I introduced previously.
Firefly Synth and Infernal Synth are synthesizer sound sources that are like brothers, and this time's synthesizer sound source Firefly Synth is said to be the older brother.
There's only one preset, so it feels like a synth for people who like creating sounds.
I have written a separate article about Infernal Synth, so please check that out as well.
Sound demo
I cleared it and created the sound completely from the initial state.
It's quite a hassle, but if you understand how synths work, I think you'll be able to figure it out.
It's worth editing.
Overview
Semi-modular CLAP and VST3 synthesizer plugin. It's basically the big brother of InfernalSynth (https://www.kvraudio.com/product/infernalsynth-by-sjoerdvankreel).
V1.0 is a very naive release. There is no monophonic mode yet, and there is no Fx version of the plugin. Other than that, it is full-featured and has many features that exceed those of InfernalSynth.
The system requirements are on the github page https://github.com/sjoerdvankreel/firefly-synth/, and the feature list https://github.com/sjoerdvankreel/firefly-synth/ includes an overview of basic functions and a manual. blob/main/feature_list.md.
Download
You can download it without registration.
If you go to the above link and scroll down a little, you will see a download link under "Download and install."
Click the link for the appropriate format to begin downloading.
Installation
When you unzip the downloaded file, the "firefly_synth_1.vst3" folder will appear, so put the folder as is in the folder below.
C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ VST3
This completes the installation.
