SPIRE of Reveal Sound is a major update to v1.5 (contents are also explained)
I'm yosi, the caretaker.
SPIRE of Reveal Sound has been updated to version v1.5.
Thankfully it's free.
Finally, the long-awaited preset manager is installed.
Is it "Sylenth 1" that is the most popular soft synth without a preset manager?
This article will be sent with the following contents.
・ Explanation of the update contents of SPIRE of Reveal Sound
Also, SPIRE has manuals for each country, and there is also a Japanese manual.
How to install the update
It's called an update, or the version number is included in the name, so it feels like a basic soft synth will be added.
How to download
You can easily download it from the official site.
Click "DOWNLOAD"
The following screen will be displayed, so click the link that suits your environment.
I think most people are updating from "Version 1.1.X", so check the following and click "DOWNLOAD".
Installing the update is easy because it remembers the previous Path.
Explaining the update contents of SPIRE of Reveal Sound
Most of the functions added in the update are related to Preset Manager, even if the contents of the update are explained.
Therefore, it feels like a functional explanation of Preset Manager.
Preset Manager
It's the long-awaited preset manager.
Preset sorting
You can switch tabs between folders, authors, tags, and favorites.
Built-in Keyboard for Pre-Listen
This feature itself does not benefit users of FL Studio.
However, preset selection is much better than before.
In the case of FL Studio, since MIDI input is supported by the PC keyboard, you can change the preset with the up and down cursor keys while making a sound with the PC keyboard.
History
The history of selecting a preset is displayed.
This is a nice feature.
Which preset did you choose earlier? It seems to be useful when it becomes.
If you click "History" on the upper right, the preset name and time will be displayed together.
Search
There is also a preset name search function.
However, it is a function to display matching presets in the selected category instead of searching from the whole.
I wish I could search from the whole when selecting the root folder.
I feel like I don't use it much.
Subfolders Creation
You can freely create folders in the "User Library".
You can also copy from Factory presets.
It may be quite convenient to store the presets used for each song in a folder.
Preset Creation
There are two ways to save a newly created preset.
● Click to display the dialog to save the preset.
The other is to click "Create" from the preset manager.
Individual Icons, Tags And Notes
You can set icons, tags, and notes for each preset.
Settings can be made by opening the Preset Manager and clicking "Edit" on the right.
The icon size is 200 x 200 Png format.
You can make original tags as well as existing tags.
"Tag1" to "Tag3" can be selected from existing tags, and "Tag4" and "Tag5" can be entered with free keywords.
Others
The rest are pretty small features, so I'll just give you a quick introduction.
Icon Setting for selected presets
You can select multiple presets (Shift + click) and change the icons at once.
Default Preset Assignments
You can set the presets that will be loaded at startup.
Favorite Presets
You can register presets as favorites.
Soundbank Import
You can easily import the downloaded sound bank.
Select "User Library" to enable "Import".
The same is true for "Rescan" by opening the storage location of the bank and copying and pasting.
Soundbank Export
You can easily export the bank.
To do this, select the bank you want to export and click "Export".
It is also possible to export in batches for each folder.
Selected Presets Copying
You can copy presets and store them in folders.
Undo/Redo
This is a feature I would like most plugins to have.
