This is a method to easily analyze and record the sound that is ringing on Youtube or PC with Pedalboard 2.
What is convenient is that you refer to existing songs when you write songs, right?
At that time, I would like to make it easier to capture the sound and pass it through an analyzer plug-in *, or play it at half the speed * to refer to the rhythm.

First of all, to do this method, you need to install the free "Voicemeeter-Banana" introduced in the following article. (In short, a virtual audio driver is required)

・ Record the sound of Youtube
I will explain it immediately.
Check the sound of Youtube as it is with the analyzer
First, change the "Input" and "Output" settings of "Pedalboard 2".
Click Option-> Audio Settings from the menu.
I haven't verified it very much, but it probably won't work with "ASIO", so select "Voice Meeter Output" from "Direct Sound" to "Input".
For "Output", select the driver you normally use.
Next, set "Output" on the OS side.
"VoiceMeeter" has multiple "Output", but the point is that you should set the same type of In and Out on the OS side and "Pedalboard 2".
After that, load the analyzer plug-in and connect.

It's nice to be able to check in real time.
If you don't hear any sound, the settings may be incorrect.
Record the sound of Youtube
Next, I'll record it.
It would be convenient to be able to record.
For recording, use the "Looper" that comes with "Pedalboard 2".
After adding the Looper, all you have to do is connect it.
To record, first enter the appropriate text in the "no file loaded" field.
All you have to do is click the record button.
Also, do not check "Stop after bar".
(If it is included, recording will stop at 1 bar)
