[Free for FL users] Introducing Minihost Modular like VST version of Pathcer

It is highly possible that the Beta version release has not been updated since then and the development has ended, but I would like to introduce it.

It's free for FL Studio users, but only for FL Studio users.

The Win version can use 32bit and 64bit, but since MacOS is only 32bit, it is actually only the Win version.

Minihost Modular is like a VST patcher, with a sound source version and an effect version.

There is no merit to use it in FL Studio, but it works well when using other DAWs.

Overview of Minihost Modular

Minihost Modular is a modular environment for hosting / interconnecting VST / AU plugins and is based on a custom modular engine specially developed for this purpose.Minihost Modular is a modular engine that allows you to host / interconnect VST / AU plug-ins. As a VST or AU plug-in, Minihost Modular can be used to extend the functionality of existing DAW software in a powerful modular, recallable environment. Minihost Modular hasn't updated anything since the v1.5.8 Beta version was released in April 2014.

Also, in June 2019, reflex wrote on the bulletin board that there are no plans for future updates, so development has stopped, and future updates cannot be expected.

Even so, the reason I will introduce it is that it is unique because it is light and can handle VST and can be used from standalone and other DAWs for free.

The degree of freedom that MIDI can be routed in addition to audio signals is excellent with DAWs that cannot route MIDI output from MIDI plug-ins such as Maschine.

How to download Minihost Modular

Download directly from the FL Studio bulletin board.

Anyone can browse part of the bulletin board, but an account is required to read all downloads.

The account is issued when you register FL Studio, so only FL Studio users can download it.

All you have to do is install it.

Once installed, you can use both standalone and VST versions.

Easy to use Minihost Modular

First of all, it doesn't matter whether it is a standalone version or a plug-in version, so start it.

You can't do anything at this point, so first scan the plugin.

Click File-> Preferences from the menu

Specify the Path of VST or VST3.

If you just want to try it quickly, click "Scan [no verity]".

Normal "Scan & Verity" will take some time depending on the number of plug-ins.

You can add the scanned plugin by right-clicking and selecting "Add Plugin".

Here, let's play the sound with Cthulhu and Serum.
