Last time, I wrote how to use Gain Match using MAGC.
Please download from the following articles.
It's natural to use it in comps and EQs, but it can also be used in more creative directions.
MAGC can be used for plug-ins that make the sound louder.
However, it cannot respond to sudden changes in volume.
This article will be sent with the following contents.
・ Use MAGC and Delay together
・ Use MAGC and Distorsion together
Use MAGC and Filter together
As soon as you raise the resonance of the filter, the volume becomes loud and you lose control.
That is solved with MAGC.
It will turn down the volume without permission, so you can do whatever you want.
The connection is as follows.
You can do anything by replacing it with another plug-in in the position of Filterstation2.
In the latter half of the video, it sounded without passing through MAGC.
I think I didn't feel any change in the volume in the first half.
However, if you are not using MAGC in the latter half, the volume will be too loud and you will not be able to hear the drum sounds.
Use MAGC and Delay together
If you raise the feedback of Delay, it will oscillate and you will not be able to touch it.
There is no problem even if it oscillates through MAGC.
If you do not pass MAGC, it will be as follows.
It seems to be powerful, but it is because the volume is loud.
I was surprised that the impression changed considerably even with the same sound when the volume was high.
Use MAGC and Distorsion together
Distorsion raises the volume. I think it is the first effect.
And I think that it is an effect with a large volume difference depending on the preset.
So you can use MAGC to evaluate presets flat. (splendid)
It will look like this without passing through MAGC.
The second preset is particularly loud and the next preset is fairly quiet.
The impression is quite different.
Summary
If you listen to it again, the impression will be different if the volume is quite different.
Especially when I changed from a low volume preset of Trash 2 to a high ply set, it sounded powerful.
It's better to use MAGC to check the plug-in that says that the sound gets thicker or better just by inserting it well.
EQ Curve Analyzer is also recommended for confirmation.
