How to make iZotope Trash 2 read your IR
I'm yosi, the caretaker.
First of all, "Trash 2" is not particularly good as an IR player.
However, it is easy to use because of its high reading speed and browsing speed.
And as I wrote in the previous article, Delay is excellent and has the advantage of chewing IR.
Therefore, it is convenient to be able to read your IR from "Trash 2".
(I've never heard of Delay, which allows you to read your own IR.)
There is one method, but there are two options.
(It's not difficult, but I will explain both for the time being)
-Change the Convolve folder of iZotope Trash 2 to your IR folder
Add your IR to the iZotope Trash 2 Convolve default folder
First, check the location of the folder.
Click Option for Trash 2.
Click Show folder on the Convolve tab.
This will open the folder where the IR of "Trash 2" is stored, so store your IR in this folder.
This time, I added the IR of VINTAGE MICS introduced earlier.
It seems that it is necessary to reload (reload) once in order to be recognized from "Trash 2".
In the case of FL Studio, you can reload by clicking "Reload plugin" from the gear icon.
It will be recognized when reloading.
You can change the tone considerably just by changing the IR.
Change iZotope Trash 2's Convolve folder to your IR folder
The procedure is the same as before halfway.
Click Option for Trash 2.
Click Change folder on the Convolve tab.
A browser will open, so select the folder where you store your IR.

Summary of how to make iZotope Trash 2 read your IR
I think it would be nice to have a Delay that can change the IR more than I expected.
Another advantage is that you can choose whether to pass IR including Dry or only Wet.
"Trash 2" It's new, but it's good.
I mean, iZotope-san, I think it would be nice if I could change the IR and put out a dedicated Delay machine equipped with various Dleya.
