I'm yosi, the caretaker.

In FL Studio, Edison starts up when you try to edit the waveform, but this is how to change it to the RX series.

Although it is written as RX series, there is probably no problem with other waveform editing software.

I tried the previous version of iZotope RX 7, so it has a title like this.
(It can be used with RX 8 without any problem)

It would be very convenient if FL Studio and RX series could work together seamlessly.

Let's explain the setting method.

FL Studio settings

It's very easy to set up.

Click "TOOLS"-> "File settings" from the FL Studio menu.

Click the File tab.

Click the folder icon of "External tools" and specify the Exe of Rx series.

In the case of "RX 7" Windows, I think the default path is as follows.

C: \ Program Files (x86) \ iZotope \ RX 7 Audio Editor \ win64

For "RX 8", please read it again.

If you want to use RX instead of Edison, set the following.

How to use

Usage is similar to Edison.

For example, right-click on the sample and click "Edit in audio editor".

Then, it will start with the sample loaded in "RX 7"!

This is the best.

Summary

If speed is important, Edison is better, or if noise removal is another process, RX should be used properly.

If you check Launch with file and uncheck it from the Default editor, you can use Edison as the default and use RX when you specify it by right-clicking.
