We have deeply sampled one of the most limited and boring instruments that humans know of, the music box.It's a small toy-like instrument that turns a lever to play a song.
You can also sample all the cool little noise and imperfections that make up the music box's pleasing sound, and use a clever GUI and script to control levels such as lever cranking and tooth clicks.
We didn't just capture the live sound of the music box.We've pre-processed each sample to make it easier to fit into multiple genres such as pop, trap, hip hop, and LoFi.

Unison (Serum preset)
Unison is a collection of analog-inspired presets for Serum that have vintage characteristics but are tailored to the workflow of modern producers.
The inspiration from Unison comes from sessions where it was difficult to find an "analog" sound that fits the modern genre. Unison presets are perfect for genres such as Future Bass, Chillout, Retrowave, Pop, LoFi and House.
We didn't try to make Serum's sound as analog as possible. We sampled iconic vintage synths like the Moog Model D, Juno 60, Prophet, Jupiter 8, and many modular synths, and converted those samples into wavetables.
Almost all presets use custom wavetables and samples, and the results are very good.Also, each patch has interesting macros that you can use to fine-tune each preset without having to dive deep.
