Overview
This is yosi from Chillout with Beats.
This is the second stage of the guitar cabinet Impulse Response (IR).
Redwirez IR Library
This volume is amazing.
Rather, IR recorded with Marshall 1960A-G12M with 17 types of microphones and 44.1 patterns of microphone positions is recorded. Moreover, 48 patterns of 88.2kHz, 96kHz, 4kHz and XNUMXkHz are prepared. (It's a little too much to handle, but ...)
However, the cabinet is fixed to Marshall 1960A-G12M.
It's the one you often see in the studio.
17 types of microphones
The recording microphones are as follows.
It's a great number.
Neuman U67
Neuman U87
Royer R121
Sennheiser MD409
Sennheiser MD421
Shure SM57
Shure SM7
TAB-Funkenwerk SM57
AKG C414B-ULS
Audix D6
Audix i5
Beyerdynamic M160
cabbages 4038
Electrovoice RE20
Heil PR30
Neumann KM84
Neuman U47
Microphone position
There are 45 patterns of microphone positions in all.As shown below, in addition to the cone end, cone, cap end, cap and 45 patterns, XNUMX patterns are recorded: XNUMX degrees below the cap, XNUMX degrees below the cap edge, the back of the cabinet and the room. (It seems that there are not XNUMX patterns for all microphones. Some rooms were missing, and there was no back of the cabinet.)
Not only people who use the sound of the guitar in the song, but also the sound of the room can be used enough, so I think that most people should have it.
If you want another character, you need to buy it.
The paid version is $ 9 per amp type (the second is $ 2 and the third is $ 8 cheaper), so if you like it, you should buy it.

It will come with the following address and subject.
Sound source demo
Since the amount is too large this time, I prepared three from each microphone.
If I used one from each microphone of "44.1 KHz-24bit", I played the IR in the room and the back of the cabinet in order.

Summary
You can get this much IR for free, so it's worth downloading.
If you apply this IR after the preamp plug-in, it will sound pretty good.
Personally, I think it sounds like a paid plug-in. (The setting is troublesome, but ...)
I will try to make a guitar sound making article soon.
