Today, I would like to introduce an acoustic guitar IR, not a plug-in.
I didn't know it at all, but using an acoustic guitar's IR makes not only the acoustic guitar but also the electric guitar sound like an acoustic guitar.
Also, it seems to be very effective when recording acoustic guitars.
(Since the sound source has already been adjusted, the recorded data is likely to be more effective.)
There are many types of acoustic guitar IRs, and IRs such as Taylor, Yamaha, Martin, Gibson, Oviation can be downloaded for free.
Rather than using it for realistic sound sources, it is more effective to use it for sound sources that are a little unsatisfactory.

The sound source is AAS's this timeStrum GS-2I tried using.
Initially bypassed and later enabled.
IR uses "Yamaha_LL16_48000_Match".
Originally the sound was like a nylon string, but it quickly changed to a sound like a steel string.
This time I tried using Session Guitarist 2 (acoustic guitar).
This is also bypassed at first and enabled later.
This time, I changed the IR from the middle.
This time I tried using Session Guitarist (electric).
I turned off all the effects.
This is also bypassed at first and enabled later.
Even though it's electric, it sounds like a box sound or an acoustic guitar.

How to use
Since it is an IR, a plug-in such as IR Player is used when using it.
It comes with most DAWs, and if it's FL Studio, you can use it with "Fruity Convolver".
If it's free, I recommend Convology XT.
If it is a paid plugin,Fog Convolver 2Is recommended.
Centralized management is possible because it is rich in functions and you can manage your IR with a browser.
I think that almost any plug-in can be loaded by dragging and dropping the basic IR file.
For usage, setting Wet to 100% and Dry to 0% will make it look more like it.
(If the sound output is good, you don't need to worry too much.)
Summary
Acoustic guitar IR is pretty good.
If the sound of the acoustic guitar is not good enough, it is good to have the option to try the IR as well.
