Bigfish Audio's versatile sampler and slicer Momentum has been updated to 1.3.
Also, "FREE SAMPLE PACK – MOMENTUM 2022" was released, so I added it.
I have written an introductory article and an article on how to use it, so please check it out as well.
FREE SAMPLE PACK – MOMENTUM 2022
A free sound pack "FREE SAMPLE PACK – MOMENTUM 2022" that can be used with "Momentum" has been added.
You can make a purchase using the link above, but it's easier to use from "Momentum", so I'll write how to do it.
Launch "Momentum" and click "STORE" in the browser on the right
Click the three-point reader on the upper right and click "LATEST RELEASE" to move up to "LATEST RELEASE"."FREE SAMPLE PACK – MOMENTUM 2022"I think that will come out.
Or if you enter "free sample" in the search window, it will come out in one shot.
After clicking, click "BUY" and you're done.
""FREE SAMPLE PACK – MOMENTUM 2022"Is displayed in "MY FILES".
What's new in Momentum 1.3
The main updates are the following four points.
– Velocity Sensitivity – You can now add velocity sensitivity to any loop on a slice page using the “Velocity” button.
If you enable "Velocity" on the Slice page, the volume will change according to the velocity.
We have prepared a video showing the difference in velocity behavior.
– Release knob – You can now set the release time when using the shot playback mode on the slice page.
Release can now be set when "Mode" is "Shot".
I hope this can be done.
– Slice Mapping Shift – You can now shift the starting point of slice keyboard mapping on a slice page down one or two octaves, giving you the flexibility to adapt to MIDI controller specifications.
In short, it is a function that can change the root note by +XNUMX or XNUMX octaves.
This feature may not be particularly necessary for FL Studio users.
FL Studio allows you to easily change the root note as an option.
Please refer to the following article for the detailed setting method.
– Reverse Crossfade – Updated the Slice Effect Reverse Crossfade knob functionality.Crossfade knobs are now used to smooth out clicks that occur between two inverted slices.
You can now set a crossfade for the reverse effect.
If the instrument has a strong attack sound when it is reversed, noise will be generated, but the noise sound can be alleviated.

Summary
I used it for the first time in a while, but it's pretty good because I can use my own sample.
Slicex that comes with FL Studio is also good, but Momentum has a lot of effects, so there is a wide range of sound creation in slice units.
You may be able to use it properly.
