I decided to write a commentary article because there was too little information.
I highly recommend it to the conclusion, so let's buy something.
What's amazing is that the additional sound source for the Playbeat Full version is released for free, but this can be read.
This alone is pretty amazing, but you can drag and drop patterns into your DAW as MIDI or STEM. (However, the MIDI Map is quite different, so you need to manually modify it.)
Since there is no detailed information, I will explain what I was able to do.
Audiomodern Playbeat Lite Overview
First of all, what can Playbeat Lite do?But to put it simply, it's a drum machine.
Therefore, it makes a sound by itself.
(Audiomodern's other plug-ins do not produce sound by themselves, but MIDI out to produce sound)
As a tendency of presets, it is strong against techno.
It is like this.
I just loaded the preset.
It feels pretty good.
I added a base and so on.
I wondered what the restrictions of the Lite version are, and it seems that there are only three things that can not be done with the main function.
-Import audio (load your own sample)
・ Some randomization functions
The following things could be done normally.
I will explain this area.
-Drag and drop patterns and stems into your DAW
-Loading expansion packs
Is it okay to make it so much even though it is a Lite version?I am worried.
I will briefly explain each of them.
Loading presets
You can select a preset by clicking the red frame in the upper center of the figure below to display the preset browser.
This preset browser is excellent and you can solo and mute each part of the drum kit.
Drag and drop patterns and stems into your DAW
Click "EXPORT" on the upper right to display the STEM export screen.
From here you can drag and drop the audio or MIDI of each part or the entire STEM to your DAW.
MIDI has a fairly different Map, so you need to move the note after dragging and dropping. (Or change the map depending on the recipient)
You can also output as a file from "Export as Audio / MIDI file" at the bottom.
Download and load expansion packs
Expansion packs can be downloaded for free without registration from the official website.
You can download it by transitioning from the above link and clicking "FREE DOWNLOAD".
So far, 6 types can be downloaded.
If you can download it, unzip it.
Launch "Playbeat Lite" from your DAW.
Open the preset browser.
Click "Import Pack" at the bottom left.
Since the browser is displayed, open the folder you just unzipped and open the "" file.
This will load the expansion pack.
The loaded expansion packs will be displayed under "Packs".
Click to see the presets for that expansion pack.
Summary
I tried to explain how to use it roughly with a little rush.
Since it is a Lite version, I thought that the functions were considerably limited, but the result was that there were fewer restrictions.
Like other Audiomodern plug-ins, it has a real-time randomize function, and real-time recording may produce unexpected performance.
