I don't think it's been talked about much, but in version 1.8, AVENGER's copy protection became a key file.

It used to be Codemeter, but it was quite unpopular because it needed to be updated in about half a year.

I hate this and stopped using it before I knew it.

There was also an announcement that Cubase will be dongle-free, which is a good trend.

That's why I actually upgraded the version.

To conclude first, it's as easy as wondering what the hardships have been.

If you have one, please try it.

Upgrade Vengeance AVENGER to version 1.8

Uninstall CodeMeter

First, uninstall "CodeMeter" that you no longer need.

For Windows, click the "Windows" icon at the bottom left, then click the gear icon.

Click "Apps".

Click Code Meter and then click Uninstall.
(You can easily find it by entering "code" in the search window.)

The rest will proceed without permission.

This is the end of uninstallation.

Install AVENGER v1.8

Log in to "AVENGER ACCOUNT".

Download "V-Manage".

When you start it, you will be asked for your account, so log in.

Click "Download Installer" at the top of the screen to download the installer.

2021 12 10 00x08 06

Click "Download Keyfile" in the upper right corner while downloading.

When the Keyfile is downloaded, the circle on the left side of "VPS AVENGER" will turn green.

2021 12 10 02x25 46

This seems to complete the activation.

After the download is complete, you will be asked if you want to install it, so click "Yes" to install it.

2021 12 10 00x28 42

After installing it, you will be asked to restart it at the end, so let's restart it. (I had a blue screen if I did it without restarting ...)

After restarting, try starting "VPS Avenger" from your DAW.

If the following screen is displayed, please check if the old version of "VPS Avenger" exists.

If you search the VST folder and find more than one, you may be able to solve it by deleting the old one.
(I was exactly that)

Summary

I was able to activate it fairly smoothly.

It is a difference from before.

This is good.

I would like to use more VPS Avenger.

Hello.Thank you for all the useful information.
When I launched Avenger, it was annoying that the license had expired, so I didn't even launch it.The change in license management was reported on Twitter, but even updating was a pain.
Since I got an article, I think that Avenger will be more active (though it is heavy and I can not use it so much).

PS: I bought FL with black gold black gray!I'm not used to it yet, but I'm studying with yosi by looking at this article!
Please tell us various things from now on.I support you!

      Good evening.
      thank you for your comment.

Even if you can't use it when you think you should use it for a while, it's a good thing.
I'm finally going to use it.

What!Thank you for the nice report!
Please let me know if you have any questions.
I want to write an article about where other DAW users will stumble when using FL Studio!
Also, if there are any points that are difficult to understand in the article, I will correct and add them, so I would be grateful if you could comment.

Please tell us various things from now on.I support you!

      Thank you!
We will continue to devote ourselves to becoming a blog that will continue for a long time.

    Good morning.
Avenger, it went smoothly like a lie. What was it up to now ...

I was using Logic Pro X (I wasn't very good at it), but when I demoed FL, I got "I don't know at all ...".The screen composition is different, the icons are not clear, the way to type the piano roll is different, and the system for making the first song is completely different, so I was confused.
When I touched it a little, it was easy to hit the piano roll, and I thought it was practical to make a song by sticking the pattern on it, so I bought it.I'm still touching it a little bit, and I haven't used Logic in the first place, so I don't think it's helpful because the stumbling point is at an extremely low level, but if I notice it again, I'll write it down!

Does it really go so smoothly? It starts up as easily as you think.

I was using Logic Pro X (I wasn't very good at it), but when I demoed FL, I got "I don't know at all ...".The screen composition is different, the icons are not clear, the way to type the piano roll is different, and the system for making the first song is completely different, so I was confused.

      Maybe that's normal.
Unlike other DAWs, FL Studio has two modes (pattern and song), so it's easy to stumble around here as well.

I'm preparing content for beginners in FL Studio, so I want to cover many points of stumbling.
Any stumbling point is fine, so please comment again if you have any.

I'm also a former Logic main and a different DAW main body, so I'm sorry from the side with support.

      When I demoed FL, I got "I don't know at all ...".

I really understand!I'm Live and Bitwig, not FL, but I've recently started studying Bitwig and think the same thing ...
As NM has noticed, the system for making songs and the idea of DAW makers are different.
Around here, Logic, Cubase, and Studio One have similar ideas, so I see people who can make the transition without any discomfort, but FL, Live, and Bitwig have clearly different ideas.
If anything, the idea is different between FL, Live and Bitwig.

When trying to use a DAW with a different idea like this, the experience of the previous DAW can be a drag.
For example, where is that function used in Logic? And I've been looking for features based on Logic.
The reason why Logic-based is not good is that FL has the optimal workflow that FL thinks, and if you ignore it and try to make it based on Logic, it will be considerably inefficient as a result.
Also, the difference between AU and VST is huge. AU doesn't have much of a concept of routing, so it took me some time to get used to the idea of VST MIDI and audio routing.

Then, I think the best way to study is to watch a high-quality tutorial video that makes a song from scratch, aside from the details, and imitate it.
The person who raises the tutorial of FL is a person who knows the idea of FL, so if you look at the tutorial, you can understand the manners of FL somehow.
If you find something you don't understand in the tutorial, you can search it on this site or ask yosi-san. It's a win-win.
Let me tell you a recommended tutorial video for beginners w (maybe there was an article)

Finally, to keep you motivated to learn, the workflows in Logic, Cubase, and Studio One are pretty old.
Personally, I think that DAW ideas such as FL, Live, and Bitwig will become the mainstream in the future.
If you master FL, the speed of making songs will definitely increase. As far as I can see from this site, there are more functions to make it more efficiently than Logic.
I also doubled the production speed from the Logic era.Rather, Logic can't search for plugin names and insert them, so you should definitely get used to FL.
Experience with Logic will go, but don't stick to Logic and do your best to migrate!
