Introducing SoundObject, a plug-in that can create binaural (3D) sounds.

The person who created this plugin is Japanese suzumushi.

I have introduced various plugins, but I am happy because the Japanese rate is quite low.

It can also be used to obtain the Doppler effect.

Overview and how to download and install

Overview

SoundObject generates a binaural sound with a three-dimensional sense of localization from a monaural sound source and its position information. It also supports not only 3D sound from headphones but also 3D sound from stereo speakers.

The conventional 3D binaural sound processor realizes a sense of localization by convolving the head-related impulse response (HRIR), which represents the scattering by the head, and the sound source.Since this convolution requires a large amount of computational resources, SoundObject assumes that scattering by the head is composed of scattering by a rigid sphere and scattering by the pinna (earlobe), and a simple sphere scattering effect filter and pinna. A feeling of localization is realized by the scattering effect filter.

Also, in many cases, the conventional binaural sound by convolution gives almost no sense of distance in the forward direction, but SoundObject realizes this by the reflected wave from the reverberation room.

Furthermore, the Doppler effect always occurs due to the movement of the sound source. In general, sine waves with 0.3% different frequencies can be identified as different sounds. This means that a recognizable Doppler effect is produced from a sound source with a speed exceeding about 1 m / s. Since 1m / s is not fast at all, SoundObject always adds the Doppler effect when moving the sound source.

SoundObject is provided as a VST 3 plug-in for Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) and supports sampling rates of 44.1KHz, 48KHz, and 96KHz.The OS environment will be 64-bit Windows 10.See the following document for details.

This completes the installation.

Summary

It's great, but I couldn't make a circular LFO in FL Studio, so I'll look into it.

I will write a separate article when I know how to do it.

You can easily do it with REAPER.

I am always looking forward to updates.
As I like Warp, I also refer to the sample video.
I am looking forward to updating the site in the future (please do not overdo it!)

No ~ I'm happy that I like Warp.
After all, I like the old warp sound, so I pursue the sound around it.

      Thank you for your concern.
I'm feeling better, so I'll write it steadily without overdoing it.
