[Free] Introducing VST Samplab that converts audio loops to MIDI
Version 2 has been released.
I am writing an article, please click here
This is great.
The conversion from the audio loop to MIDI is installed in the DAW, but the accuracy is not good and it takes time and effort.
(FL Studio is a very disappointing accuracy, so I think it's a very nice plug-in for FL Studio users.)
Moreover, since Samplab is a plug-in, you can drag and drop samples to load them, and drag and drop to bring MIDI files to your DAW.
The accuracy is quite high depending on the instrument.
We will introduce you to such a wonderful plug-in Samplab.
This article will be sent with the following contents.

Overview of Samplab and how to download
It's kind of confusing because the name of the developer and the name of the plugin are the same, but I will explain the outline of Samplab and how to download Samplab.
Also, this plugin requires login, so it's a good idea to create an account first.
Overview of Samplab
Samplab was founded in Zurich, Switzerland in 2020 with the vision of making music production easier, faster and more attractive. We want to allow you to be creative with your music.Leave the technical things to us.
Samplab is a new Swiss developer as far as I can see the picturesI think you are young.
I am very interested in future activities.
Probably, I think that the enhanced version will be released for a fee, so in that case I will write an article in detail.
Overview of Samplab (plug-in)
Drag and drop an audio file onto the plug-in and it will be sent to our server for processing. When the process is complete, you will get the result that all the notes in the audio have been separated. To edit the notes, generate a MIDI file that you can drag to the Samplab track. From now on, the plug-in behaves like a virtual instrument. The plug-in takes MIDI events from your DAW as input and plays (edited) notes. If you don't make any changes to MIDI, the result should sound like the original audio.Of course, you can use the MIDI file for other purposes as well.
The point is that you can drag and drop audio loops into plug-ins> convert to MIDI files> drag and drop into your DAW.
There is only one function limitation, and it can be converted to MIDI within 10 seconds.
It will be cut for 10 seconds or more.
I prepared a video.
First I drag an audio loop to Samplab to convert it to a MIDI file.
The conversion will take some time (less than 10 seconds).
Then, drag and drop the MIDI file onto the electric piano sound source to play it.
How to download Samplab
The download method will change from the link below, scroll the screen and click "Download".
Then, the file suitable for the OS will be downloaded without permission.
If not, select the OS from the dropdown and click "try again" to start the download.

How to use Samplab
When you start it for the first time, the login screen will be displayed as shown below.
Enter the email address and password you used when you created your account earlier and click "Log In"
Then you will see the screen below and you are ready to use it.
It's very simple to use, just drag and drop the audio loop onto Samplab and it will convert it to a MIDI file.
The limit must be 10 seconds or less, but even if it is exceeded, the following message will be displayed and clicking "Continue" will cut after 10 seconds and convert it to a MIDI file.
There are switches for stereo, mono and pitch quality settings, but I can't use them with a message that I'll implement in the future.
Let's expect and wait for the time being.
Summary
This is a great conversion accuracy.
At least the piano and guitar were pretty good.
I think I'll try it with various musical instruments.
I look forward to the future and will support you with a little effort.
