I'm yosi, the caretaker.
I wrote it in three parts with the following contents.
Please click the link below for the previous content.
2. Add bass to Kick using FilterStation2 of AudioDamage + α (this article)
3. Use FL Studio's Patcher to add bass to Kick + α
This time, I will specify Filter a little. (There is a reason)
Audio DamageFilter Station 2.
It's on sale once in a while, so check out other products at that time.
(Since the list price is conscientious, even if you buy it at the list price, you will not feel like losing it.)
I will explain it at once.
Add bass to Kick with Audio Damage's FilterStation2
First, add bass as usual as in the previous method.
I use Kick with less bass so that the effect is easy to understand.
Load FilterStation2 into the mixer.
For the time being, only one Filter will be used, so click Filter 2 and then click "NONE".
(This will disable Filter II)
Then click Filter 1 and then click MS20 HP.
After that, adjust the frequency as follows.
FilterStation2 is difficult to adjust Q and Cutoff individually by dragging on the screen, so it is easy to display and adjust the parameters.
If you want to make small changesSHIFTHold down the key while dragging.
Also, FilterStation2 has a pity that the Cutoff frequency is not displayed.
ADPTR Metric AB is easy to understand and good.
If you don't have ADPTR Metric AB, the scale will also be displayed.Voxengo's SPANI think that is good.
(It is easy to understand if Mode is set to HIGH RES)
Audio Damage's Filter Station 2 is a high-performance filter with functions that ordinary filters do not have.
Add bass to Kick using Audio Damage's FilterStation2 + α
Let's do the + α part.
Since FilterStation2 is equipped with Envelop, you can create sounds like this.
I use FilterStation2 because there aren't many filters with Envelop that oscillate with High Pass.
(You can also use SountToy's FilterFreak2)
It's a way of doing it, but I'm only changing "ENV A MOUNT" and "DECAY".
If you change this setting, the filter will be enveloped, so it will sound like this.
It is also interesting to add saturation.
Depending on the Kick, it may oscillate immediately and not stop, so in such cases it will work if you cut the bass a little.
I hung FilterStation808 on the "Basic 2 Kick" that came with FL Studio with the following settings and replaced the Kick of the Loopcloud Drum.
At first, I used the Loopcloud Drum original Kick and replaced it with this Kick from the middle.
Summary
It will be quite thick.
Next time, I will use FL Studio's Patcher.
Actually, this is the most interesting result, so this and the previous article may be a prelude.
