How to use the sound source SIGNAL equipped with the Output pulse engine (basic edition)
This is the basic version of Output's SIGNAL.
I wrote the practical edition first, so please take a look.
I will explain the basic things that you should know when using SIGNAL.
・ Change the location of Library
Reduce SIGNAL load time
This is not a SIGNAL feature, but a Kontakt specification issue.
"Batch Re-Save" will speed up the loading of the library.
Regarding Batch Re-Save, the following blogs are highly detailed and easy to understand, so I recommend them. (I was a great writer, but I'm lonely that it's not updated at all)
As mentioned in the above article, it is better to make a backup and then "Batch Re-Save".
(However, Output does not have to worry if there is no limit on the net because there is no limit on the number of times the library can be downloaded.)
It's easy to set up.Please see the video below.
(The first half is irrelevant. The procedure starts from 20 seconds.)
Open Kontakt, click the floppy icon and select "Batch Re-save" from the drop-down list.
A warning will be displayed, so select "YES".
A dialog will appear, select the folder for the target product.
(If it is Signal, the folder that contains the Signal library.)
After that, if you wait, the batch processing will end, so please open it again.
It will be much faster.
Change the location of the Library
All Kontakt sound sources of Output are common.
Since this is troublesome except for Win, I will explain it firmly.

This is the procedure for moving the Library location after activating in "Native Access".
(You can set it freely before activating)
First, close "Native Access".
windows key + r Open "Run" with.
Enter "regedit" in "Name" and click "OK"
The Registry Editor is displayed.
Making strange changes in Registry Editor can affect your system.
Please work with great care.
All you have to do is delete the following three registries.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Native Instruments \ * Product Name *
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Native Instruments \ * Product Name *
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ WOW6432Node \ Native Instruments \ * Product Name *
The final * Product Name * is the target product name.
In this case, it's Signal.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Native Instruments \ Signal
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Native Instruments \ Signal
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ WOW6432Node \ Native Instruments \ Signal
I actually deleted it.
There was no "Signal" in the third place below.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ WOW6432Node \ Native Instruments \ Signal
When I opened "Native Access", "Signal" was in the "Not Installed" category.
Hover your cursor over "Signal" to see the magnifying glass icon.
You will be asked where to install it, so specify the "Signal" Library to complete the installation.
I tried to read it with my DAW as before, but I was able to read it without any problems.
