[Free available] Fet Bundle released on Analog Obsession
This is an updated version of the previously released plugin.
Big Sur (Intel / M1) is also supported.
FETISH, which models 1176, has a very different GUI.
I think it's sophisticated and nice.
There is also a side chain, and oversampling can be turned on and off.
The problem is that the name of the plugin has changed this time, and the number of plugins is increasing steadily.
Overview
— FETISH —
– INPUT. Extended input gain from 0 to 60 dB.You can drive the circuit with an internally corrected input knob to get compression.In the original gear, the input boosts the signal without correction. With FETISH, you don't have to turn down the volume while boosting the input.
– Output: Corrects compressed signal with make-up gain of -30 to +30 dB
– ATACK: 20-800 microseconds Reversing knob allows adjustment without confusion.
– Release: 50ms-1.1sec (adjusted by reversing the knob).
– RATIO: 4: 1, 8: 1, 12: 1, 20: 1 can be selected.Each has its own curve and has a different range to start compression.At the lowest ratio, it should be compressed immediately when you raise the input.The higher the ratio, the higher the input gain and the higher the compression will start.
– HPF: A 20-500Hz HPF that allows low frequencies to escape from the sidechain circuitry.Prevents the compressor from touching the low end.
– MID F. (Frequency 500Hz ~ 10kHz) / MID G. (Gain -6dB ~ + 6dB).Use these two knobs to set the mid-range frequency and set the compression strength. Increasing the MID gain (broadband) will result in more compression at the selected frequency.Decreasing the midrange gain weakens the midrange compression.
– HF: The HF knob helps to compress the high frequencies more. The FLAT position keeps the highs naturally, while the HF position compresses the highs more.
– MIX: Allows you to blend compressed and dry signals.
– SLAM: This feature gives you ultra-fast and aggressive limiter options.This feature can be used for any ratio.
– EXT: External signals can be compressed and input.
