Introducing Monique, the bass and lead monosynth from Monoplugs

This article is a rewrite of an older article.

I decided to rewrite because the download destination and the version were upgraded, and the plug-in is highly recommended.

Monique was originally sold at 49, but is now open source.

I think that there are not many places where you can morph between presets for free.

Although it is an introduction article, I will also explain how to morph.

Sound demo

The reverb and distortion are good, and it has a unique texture and is very good.

I tried some presets.

I tried to play with the drums.

The main riff and bass are Monique.

Monique is really good.

How to morph

Set new morphing

The morphing section is the red frame below.

Click EDIT to change the settings.

The parameters are displayed in the keyboard part at the bottom of the screen.

From left to right, you can select which preset to morph each of OSC (oscillator), Filter, ARP (arpeggio), and FX / EQ (effect).

As for the morphing mechanism, you can morph A and B with each knob of "MORPH (MO) MIXER" below.

2020 10 21 00h50 51 1

It's easy to use, and make the state A with the knob turned all the way to the left.

Click "SET TO CURRENT" once in this state.
(By doing this, if it is OSC, the current settings of OSC will be written to all A and B)

Even if you move the knob in this state, the parameters will not respond at all.

From here, enter the settings you want to morph.

Turn the knob all the way to the right to change the parameter.

If you turn the "MORPH (MO) MIXER" knob in this state, the parameters will be morphed.

I took a video.

Now you can morph.

And you can control the four morphings with the XY pad at the bottom right.

If you move the red circles to the four ends, each "MORPH (MO) MIXER" will be maximized.

Morph between presets

Morphing between presets is easy, just pick the preset when the knob is on the far left and the preset when it's on the far right.

Summary

It's a mess, isn't it?

It sounds pretty good.

Also, FLStudio users have written a method to use a monosynth as a polysynth, so it is also possible to play polysynths.
