Introducing Kilohearts legacy synth instrument kHs ONE
Kilohearts' kHs ONE has been discontinued and is available for free.
Recently, it was released as a completely separate installer, so I will introduce it again.
It used to be paid ($99 initially, $19 just before discontinuation), so it's no surprise that the quality is high.
There are disadvantages such as changing the size of the GUI and not supporting VST3, but if you don't care about these two, let's take the initiative and install it.

How to load a bank
The initial loaded preset is 99.
But there are more banks than that, with more than double the presets.
Banks can be loaded from “Load Factory Bank”.

kHs ONE is a subtractive synthesizer that emphasizes high sound quality and ease of use. Featuring 1 oscillators, 3 filters and 2 waveshaper per voice, it is designed to minimize aliasing and other artifacts. All aspects of kHs ONE can be modulated in multiple ways.

Installation
Since it is an installer, you can install it by running it.
Since it is VST2, if the Path is different, it needs to be changed.
Most VST2 folders are one of the following:

Summary
Although it's a disco plug-in, it doesn't support VST3 and you can't change the size of the GUI, so I think most people can use it.
However, it is good that the flow of releasing discon for free has increased recently.
If you make it free as a discontinuation, there is no need to support it, and existing users will give up because it is old.
In addition, many people will share, etc. and it will be a kind of advertisement.
However, at the moment, I think that only developers who are applying light protection to activation are able to make it free by discontinuing.
