How to add WaveTable to Phase Plant of Kilohearts
WaveTable addition method series.
If you have one, please try it.
The range of tone editing is considerably expanded.
I only use two oscillators, but I can make various sounds.
(The effect is also pretty good, isn't it?)
Then I will explain it immediately.
Add WaveTable to Phase Plant
There were two ways to do it.
-Drag and drop to Wavetable Editor
Store in the WaveTable folder
It's easy to add.
Click the bottom right corner of the WaveTable oscillator.
A browser will open, so click "Add location" at the bottom.
In the dialog that opens, select the folder that contains the WaveTable.
You can follow WaveTable even if the folders are hierarchical.
If you have Serum, you should select the "Table" folder in "Serum Presets".
Now you can select not only the standard WaveTable of Serum but also the WaveTable you added in the User folder from Phase Plant. (Super convenient!)
Drag and drop into Wavetable Editor
To be clear, the former addition method is convenient, so there is little point in using it.
However, I will introduce you because you can edit Wavetable using Wavetable Editor.
The Wavetable Editor can be opened by clicking the pencil icon on the WaveTable oscillator.
You can load it by dragging and dropping WaveTable into the opened editor.
I haven't used this Wavetable Editor yet, but it has some pretty attractive features.
In particular, I think that offline effect processing is a function that Serum does not have.
(I think Serum's Wave Table Editor is still better when judged comprehensively)
Summary of how to add WaveTable to Phase Plant of Kilohearts
At first glance, Phase Plant seemed difficult to use, but it may be easier to use as you get used to it.
It's easy to add WaveTable, and it's great to be able to specify the location where Serum's WaveTable is stored.
Even if it increases in the future, if you add it to Serum, the WaveTable of Phase Plant will increase automatically, so it is good to be able to centrally manage it.
