However, if you are trying to edit with Harmor, you should understand.

There are many cases where moving "Cut off" and "Resonance" doesn't make it look like a normal synth.

I can't explain at all with just one Filter, so I'll expand it little by little.

Learn the routing of Filters XNUMX and XNUMX

Harmor is equipped with Filter XNUMX and Filter XNUMX.

These two filters can be routed.

Therefore, no matter how much you move one, the sound will not change at all.

Routing is operated with one knob in the red frame in the figure below.

With this one knob, you can connect Filter1 and Filter2 (hereinafter FXNUMX and FXNUMX) serially (series), parallel connection (parallel), and mix.

When it is on the far left of the above figure, it does not pass through "F1".

Therefore, even if you move "Cut off" or "Resonance" of "F1", the sound does not change at all.

It's unlikely that you'll only use "F2", so there are two things you should remember (though if you can remember them all, you should remember them).

Find the modulation to which the Filter is assigned

In addition to routing, moving the knob may not change the sound as expected.

That is when some modulation is assigned.

In the video below, "Cutoff" is assigned to the X axis of the XY pad, so if you do not set the X axis to "0", the amount of change will be small even if you move the "Cutoff" knob.

To check, check if the modulation source of "Filter 1 frequency" is marked with ▶ on the "ENV" screen.
