How to add WaveTable for Arturia Pigments
I will write a little procedure for adding WaveTable for various WaveTable synths.
This time is Arturia Pigments.
Pigments is a synth that can handle samples, can also use Granular, has an excellent built-in sequencer, and is well differentiated from other synths.
The story goes awry, but I've written an article about how to play other VSTi with the Pigments built-in sequencer, so please check it out as well.
Please use the method described in the following article to obtain WaveTable.
After that, a free WaveTable is distributed on cymatics's site.
Add WaveTable to Pigments
hereCymaticsLet's take "Xfer Serum Starter Pack Wavetables" as an example.
From the above linkCymaticsPlease download the WaveTable of Mr.'s place first.
First, set the oscillator to "Wavetable".
Click the red frame in the figure below.
Click the folder icon in the upper right.
A dialog will appear, select the folder that contains the WaveTable.
A little annoying is that the folder should be a WaveTable.
(If there is a folder in the folder and WaveTable is in it, it will not be recognized)
Here, select "Cymatics – Xfer Serum Starter Pack Wavetables".
Then a folder will be created under "Imported".
It contains the imported WaveTable.
You can increase it steadily by adding it to each folder.
I added Serum's WaveTable.
It is not suitable for making a violent Bass like Serum, but Pigments is good for making a beautiful sound using the tone color change of WaveTable.
(The effect is also like Arturia)
Summary of how to add WaveTable of Arturia Pigments
I've used Pigments for the first time in a while and it's a good synth.
Even with the same WaveTable, it is a completely different type from Serum, so you can use it properly.
In order to make more use of it, let's expand the usage articles a little more.
