How to use FL Studio How to adjust BPM using Slicex
Have you been using Slicex and haven't had any BPM when loading Wav?
So, this time I will explain how to adjust the BPM with Slicex.
I have written many other articles about FL Studio, so please take a look.
How to match the loop read by Slicex with BPM
The situation where the BPM of the loop read by Slicex does not match is as follows.
You can see that the file name on the right is BPM150.
However, the Slicex setting on the left is now BPM112.
I tried to play it with Kick in this state.
Yes, there is no rhythm at all.
It is as follows when corrected.
It's a method, but it's very easy.
When BPM is known from the file name etc.
BPM is almost always listed in the file name these days, so you can do it this way.
Right-click where the Slicex BPM is displayed.
Then the dialog will be displayed as below.
Enter the BPM described in the file name in "Tempo" and click "Accept" at the bottom right.
Finally, click "Dump score to piano roll".
I also prepared a video.
If you don't know the BPM
Even if BPM is not described in the file name, write it for the time being.
If BPM is not stated, count several beats.
In short, in the case of four-on-the-floor, it is the number of kicks.
Right-click where the Slicex BPM is displayed.
A dialog will be displayed as shown below.
Enter the number of beats counted in "Length" and click "Accept".
Finally, click "Dump score to piano roll".
It's easy.
