There seems to be an update this month, so I will write about how to make a chord progression and how Captain Melody and Deep work together.
I will explain the workflow from creating a chord progression with Captain Chords, generating a melody with Melody, and generating a Bass with Deep.
This time, I will explain how to generate a melody with Captain Melody for the chord progression made with Captain Chords.

Overview of Captain Melody

Magic Record can find melodies regardless of key, scale, or keyboard capabilities. You can prevent playing the wrong note and check the sound that is most suitable for the scale.
A new invention. Create the perfect melody with your Pegasus workflow
Developed and patented the Pegasus workflow for creating hit melodies. Captain Melody can take advantage of this workflow to speed it up.
Record and improve your performance
Captain Melody provides tools for expressing your ideas and writing great melodies. You can create, edit and reconstruct your own melody to make it as impressive as possible.
Designed for hit makers
Do you want to make a hit song? You need an impressive hook. With Captain Melody, you can write hooks that you can't write yourself.
For example, David Guetta used Captain Chords and Captain Melody to write the melody and chords for this remix.
The above video is a song made by David Guetta using Captain Chords and Captain Melody.
Coordinating Captain Chords and Melody
Prepare the code with Captain Chords
In order to cooperate, it is necessary to have chord progressions in "Captain Chords".
So here, select a preset in "Captain Chords" and prepare a chord progression.
The key is A, the scale is set to minor, and the chord progression is selected from the presets.
If you ring it as it is, it looks like this.
Now you are ready to go.
Coordinating Captain Chords and Captain Melody
Start "Captain Melody".
The following screen will be displayed, but click "GO" to proceed.
If "Captain Chords" is running, the following message will be displayed.
In short, do you want to link "Captain Chords" and "Captain Melody"?If you click "Connect", "Captain Chords" and "Captain Melody" will be linked.
Generate a melody with Captain Melody
I will make a melody.
There are various patterns for how to make it, but here I will introduce how to generate a melody completely by leaving it to "Captain Melody" without a plan.
(I will write more in detail when the next version comes out)
After opening "Captain Melody", click "IDEA" on the upper left.
The following pop-up will appear at the top of the screen, but click "Skip".
(This is an English video tutorial, so if you are comfortable with English, you can take a look here.)
When you put the mouse in the piano roll, the "+" icon will be displayed. Click it.
Expand the range to XNUMX measures.
It's a little difficult to understand, so I recorded a video.
Click the dice icon to randomly generate a melody.
And if you can make a melody that looks good, you can edit it from the top of the screen.
Change the parameters and click "Update Shape" to update.
I tried to make a video of the feeling of editing while ringing.
Summary
I'd like to explain the parameters in more detail, but it seems that the next version will come out within a few weeks, so I will write about that after the next version comes out.
I think the great thing about Captain Melody is that it's a sound that simply matches the scale, not only randomizing, but also melody generation that matches the chord progression, and subsequent editing is easy.
I'm looking forward to the upcoming Captain Epic.
I'm going to work this week, so I think the next "Captain" series update will probably be next week. (I think there will be more light articles this week)
