How to get Arturia's Mellotron V to load your sample XNUMX
I'm yosi, the maintainer of Chillout with Beats.
It's on sale right now, so if you don't have it, check it out.
Last time I loaded a loop, but this time it's a way to load a one-shot.

Load one shot into Arturia's Mellotron V
This has a few points.
After all, in the case of one shot, it is necessary to adjust the pitch.
First of all, anything is fine, so prepare a one-shot.
This time I made it from the strings of Kontakt's attached library.
It is like this.Kontakt in the first halfでThe second half is MellotronIt is a sample read in.
There is no problem with one shot of a normal sample library.
Place the note in C4 for 5 measures. (Except for FL, it is about C3 60)
Place the clip in Song mode.
With the clip selected Ctrl + Alt + C Press.
The rendering screen will appear, so click "Start" as it is
It will be rendered like this.
Double-click the rendered clip.
It will be displayed as follows.
If this is left as it is, the volume will be low, so right-click where the waveform is displayed and click "Edit in audio editor".
Click the spanner icon and click Normalize.
I was able to normalize.
Drag the icon at the top right of Edison to return to the original Window.
(Unfortunately you can't drop directly from Edison to Mellotron V.)
I prepared a Gif video here.
Start Mellotron V and click "Edit" on the right side of the screen.
Drag and drop the file you just normalized here.
I also prepared a GIF video.
If you want to view multiple plug-ins in FL Studio Alt You can see both by holding down and clicking on the new plugin.
Adjust the volume
Since it is normalized, the volume is a little loud.
You should drop it a little.
Try playing chords in this area and judge whether or not clip noise appears.
You can change the volume with "Gain".
Adjust one-shot tuning
Anything is fine, so start the tuner plugin.
If you don't have itGTuneI think it's quick.
(Mac versionplease use this form.)
Here, proceed with bx_tuner.
First of all, I would like you to look at the screen, but the darkened part is the root key.
If you brought it from another one shot, please adjust the root key.
(In most cases, it is written in the file name)
Be sure to set "Flutter" to "0" before tuning.
(The pitch fluctuates and it is difficult to tune)
Play C5 for fine tuning.
"Trans" can be set in semitone units and "Tune" can be set in 100/1 semitone units.
Since I brought it from Kontakt this time, there is almost no need to change the tuning, but if it is a one-shot etc., it may need to be corrected quite a bit.
After that, please enjoy Mellotron by adding saturation and noise as you like.
