Difference between XO and XO Lite
Personally, if you're having trouble buying XO and XO Lite, I highly recommend buying XO.
The reason is that when using XO alone, multi-out is not possible with Lite.
(I think it's pretty deadly)
And when linking with other drum sampler systems, it is not possible to export (drag and drop) as a kit with Lite. (Completely deadly)
Therefore, unless you use XO Lite alone and do not need multi-out, you will regret it later if you do not buy XO.
It is possible to upgrade from Lite to XO, but it costs $ 69.95 (7,666 yen *).

I can't multi-out
The need for this feature can be seen by using XO as the main or other drum sampler-type plug-ins as the main.
I think it is an essential function when using XO as the main.
You will not be able to multi-out and separate only the kick to make a side chain, or separate only the snare and hang a saturator or reverb.
I think that if you can't multi-out the output of the drums, you will get a lot of stress.
Fewer factory presets and initial samples
This also depends on the person, but I think this is not so important.
I think it is important for drum samples to be genre-specific, so it is better to buy samples and add them.
To be honest, presets aren't very attractive.
My favorite genre may just be biased, but I think it's better to bring MIDI data from UJAM's products and Loop Cloud.
The number of file formats supported is small
Personally, I have never wanted it to be compatible with Mp3 etc., so I do not feel that it is a specially required function.
There are few types of export
Export is a super important feature when using XO as a sample management browser and using other drum sampler plugins.
The Lite version can only export MIDI and one-shot,Kit export is not supported.
What kind of feeling did you actually try?
It may be difficult to understand because the cursor at the time of drag and drop is hidden for a while, but the Lite version needs to be dragged and dropped one by one.
And as you can hear, the sound after XO's internal effect processing cannot be exported if it is the Lite version.
I'm dragging and dropping the post-effects Kit at the end of the video, but Lite doesn't have this feature.
Things like the video below cannot be done with Lite.
In addition, you cannot export as Loop or export stem.

Personally, this is a level where I wonder if there are people who are satisfied with Lite.
I know if Lite has a list price of around 5,000 yen, but when it exceeds XNUMX, I think there is an option for the Lite version.
Even if you buy the Lite version, you will end up upgrading to the Full version.
