Introducing the MT Power Drum Kit 39, a drum sound source originally sold for $ 2 by MANDA AUDIO.
It seems that it became free a long time ago (around 2014), but I didn't know.
Free is great for this quality.
If you don't have a paid drum sound source, this is a sound source you want to have.
In the video below, I'm just applying compression, but it sounds pretty solid.
Overview
Multi-layer drum sampler AU/VST instrument
MT Power Drum Kit is a free drum sampler that provides powerful, high quality sounds of acoustic and realistic drum kits. The samples have been specially recorded and processed to make them ideal for pop, rock and metal productions.Unlike other expensive drum samplers, the MT Power Drum Kit Sampler is pre-processed with a compressor and EQ, so it fits perfectly into any mix. This is exactly where many drum sample programs fail. Some expensive plug-ins provide a very natural and dynamic drum kit sound as a solo instrument, but as soon as you envision using it for a complete mix of powerful pop and rock pieces. There are many things that fail. The kick drum sounds loose, and the snare drum sounds natural and dynamic in solos, but is buried in the sound of guitars and other instruments in mixes. But that's exactly what the MT Power Drum Kit is best at.The kick and snare are clearly reproduced in any mixing situation, yet are not over-compressed for a natural sound.
In addition, the compressor built into each channel allows for more detailed control over the compression level.
Create your own drum accompaniment using the Groove Library, which contains thousands of rhythms. In particular, the innovative feature for creating fills produces extremely smooth and realistic drum tracks (see video).
The Crash, Ride, and Hi-Hat cymbals use high-quality cymbals and microphones for a pleasing sound at varying velocities.
From early on, I was careful to reproduce the realistic situation when recording the microphone of the set and recording individual samples. It's almost impossible, but we've stopped the tradition of sample recording, "recording sounds one by one," and let studio drummers play the entire groove. Then, the necessary sounds are cut out from them with various velocities and processed to make the sample as realistic as possible. For example, the hi-hat sample shows this prominently. On the right, you can listen to the results on the demo track.

Download
Go to the above link and click the icon of the corresponding OS.
You will be asked for a format, so select it.
(Those other than ProTools are VST)
Next, select the bit, but if it is a recent OS, it is 64bit.
How to install
For installation, put the following two files in the folder that is unzipped and put in the VST2 folder.
How to make a sound
The great thing about MT Power Drum Kit 2 is that it comes with a lot of drum patterns even though it's free.
You can easily play rock drums just by arranging the drum patterns.
When you start it for the first time, the following screen will be displayed.
If you want to use it for free, you need to click "SKIP" at the bottom right every time you start up.
If you donate from "Donate", a Key will be issued and this screen will not be displayed.
If you want to use it, I think it would be better to donate even a small amount so that this screen will not be displayed.
Click "GROOVES".
If you select a folder from "STYLE", the drum pattern will be displayed in "GROOVES".
Double-click the list in "GROOVES" to play it.
If you find a pattern you like, drag and drop it to "COMPOSER".
I prepared a video.
Once the pattern is created to some extent, drag and drop it from "COMPOSER" to the DAW, and the drum pattern will be output as MIDI.
It's super excellent.
Summary
This is amazing.
The only downside is that Kit is the only standard one.
Other than that, you can also use parallel output, change the MIDI map, and even MIDI out.
I think I'll write a simple how-to article.
